Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he prefers Madrid to Paris as a city and feels at home in the Spanish capital, while not ruling out that changing in the future. “I like Madrid more than Paris, but maybe one day things will change. I might get a girlfriend in Paris and spend more time there”, Ronaldo told Visão magazine.
While CR7 didn’t explicitly refer to the possibility of joining PSG, he downplayed the chances of him moving to Paris any time soon and hinted that he intends to settle down in Spain when he hangs up his boots because he “loves” living in Madrid: “I’ve got family working in France, but I’m not planning to live in Paris. It’s a beautiful city, I’ve been there a few times, but it doesn’t hit the spot for me”.
Ronaldo also revealed that he isn’t currently considering coaching or becoming a club president when he retires, but you never know what might happen down the road. “I want my brand to keep growing because I know that my football career will be over in five or ten years. You have a different life after that”, he observed.
